Mendocino Redwood Company appoints new positions

Mike Jani has been appointed to the new position of chief forester at Mendocino Redwood Company. He will have responsibility for the management of all MRC forestlands. He was formerly chief forester at Big Creek Lumber Company. Jani will be based in Calpella and officially begins his duties May 1. Also, the company has named Nancy Budge director of stewardship. Budge spent the last eight years of her career in strategic planning for Boise Cascade and has extensive experience in various sawmill supervisory jobs including plant manager and foreman.
